Important Notice
All teams and players must read and agree to these rules before participating in the Seeta Football League. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in penalties or disqualification.
Match Format & Play
Matches are played 6 players a side (five outfield + a goalkeeper). Each game lasts 30 minutes — two halves of 15 minutes with a short half‑time break. Rolling substitutions are allowed from a team's registered squad.
Matches officially start at 10:00 AM; teams should be ready 15 minutes before. League matchdays are held once every three (3) weeks, on a Sunday, and the fixture graphic is published the week before.
⏱️ Late / no‑show: a team more than 10 minutes late forfeits the match — a walkover (recorded 3–0) is awarded to the opponents.
Only registered players may play — a player must appear on the team's official squad (with a passport photo) before taking the field. A squad may include a maximum of three (3) non‑Seetanian players; the rest must be Seetanians.
A team is only eligible to be fixtured and play once it has contributed at least 50% of its required dues. Teams below this threshold will not play until they comply.
Every team must have a distinct jersey representing it (goalkeepers in a contrasting colour). Turf shoes are allowed; metal studs or footwear the referee deems dangerous are not permitted.
Discipline — Cards & Conduct
A cautioned player leaves the pitch and serves two (2) minutes off. The team plays a player short for that time and may not replace them until the two minutes elapse.
A player shown a red card misses the remainder of that game and takes no further part. The team plays short for the rest of the match; serious offences may carry further sanctions from the Committee.
Interaction with or dissent toward the referee is punishable. The sanction (caution, sin‑bin, dismissal, or further suspension) is applied at the referee's discretion, based on the severity and impact of the conduct.
